Eleven years ago, in the quaint town of Dorchester, a dream took root. Som and Pranom, a husband and wife with a passion for their homeland's cuisine, embarked on a journey to bring the vibrant flavours of Thailand to the UK.
Our Story
The restaurant was inspired by the classic film "The King and I," which tells the story of ANNA, a widow, and her son who travel to Bangkok where she is assigned as a teacher to KING MONGKUT's children and TUPTIM.
Embracing this narrative, the restaurant not only adopted the name but also created a special set menu named after these beloved characters, celebrating their journey and connection to Thai culture.
